Sample pieces with very limited availability.
Using a branch from the apple tree in our own garden, we asked a local skilled carpenter to create our unique candle and holder prototypes, from which we hand poured our moulds. The resulting candle and holder combination are a stunning representation of the original piece of wood.
This hand poured concrete holder sits atop a hand-cut cork base to protect your surfaces and can be used not only to burn our Branch candle but also any standard tealight or taper candle too.

We have graded all of our seconds into one of the following categories where the item may have one or several of the following imperfections - none of which effect the performance, only the aesthetic:
Level 1 - 30% discount
- Small areas of patchy, mottled or speckled surface colour
- Colour does not match our palette
- 1-2 small dark surface marks
- Perfect pieces where we may be a little over-stocked
Level 2 - 50% discount
- Widespread areas of patchy, mottled or speckled colour
- 2+ dark surface marks
- Excessive small air bubbles
- Small dripmarks in a discreet position
- Recently discontinued colour / End-of-line product
- Ex-display pieces
- Slightly too thin or too short
- Minor damage or dent on candle or melt surface
Level 3 - 70-75% discount
- Complete coverage of patchy, mottled or speckled colour
- Large dripmarks in an obvious position
- Large air holes
- Major damage or dent on candle or melt surface
- Discontinued colours and end-of-line product that has been hanging around for a while and needs to find a home.

Please pay careful attention to the description above about the type of imperfections this second may have or the reason for the product grading on a perfect piece.
We have used our standard photos to show the seconds items for sale, not the individual imperfections that each item has.
Each piece in our tableware collection has been protected with a hard wearing surface coating to deter from marks and stains and each can be wiped clean using a soft damp cloth. However, certain liquids (most notably red wine) may leave a permanent mark if left on the surface for a prolonged period of time, especially on the lighter colours of concrete.
As these pieces are sold at a largely discounted rate, they are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Unless otherwise stated on the listing, seconds and samples will be sent out wrapped and packaged for protection in transit, not in our usual branded tubes or boxes.
